Who is eligible?

  • People with a BMI of 27+ with a comorbidity (such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol, sleep apnea, cardiovascular disease, pre-diabetes, type 2 diabetes, etc)
  • Patients with a BMI of 30+ without comorbidity

Who is not eligible?

  • Under 18 years of age
  • Pregnant or Breastfeeding women
  • History of medullary thyroid carcinoma or a family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma
  • History of Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia syndrome type 2 (MEN 2)
  • History of active cancer, active gallbladder disease, a recent bariatric surgery (within the past 1 year), or a history of pancreatitis (in the past six months)
  • History of eating or substance abuse disorder
